Christmas is Sooo Close | Photoshop Classes

Without fail near all conversations at the moment included “I cannot believe  where the year has gone, it will be Christmas before we know it”

Well I hate to point it out again -but serious Christmas is so close…  We are holding our last group workshop today for 2011 and have a few 1:1 remaining.  It has been a great year thus far – thank you… Next year looks to be as good – we are taking bookings for Jan 2012 – 1:1 or small group workshops during the holidays – days are limited though…

We have had a few requests for play days – when we get together and go and shoot, or hover over the computer and ask questions re photoshop, downloading – more like a 20 questions session – if you are interested – shoot us an email with what you’d love to ask/see on the day…

Stay tuned for a few Christmas Ideas coming over the next couple of days.

It has been a crazy, crazy couple of months…

We have launched Meloo Photography’s website and are still repairing the damage to Point Shoot Play’s blog and site, that were wiped with the major hacks we received.  Thank you for your emails and calls, great to know we have support out there… Onwards and upwards…

I’ll be posting this separately shortly, but we do have a couple of classes happening later in the year (just in time for Christmas) at Stamp Art Studio – Aspley – all bookings are to be made direct through the store ;)

1:1 classes and small group workshops are keeping us busy – we have a limited number remaining for 2011 – if you have been putting off booking – get in now to secure your preferred time.

POINT SHOOT PLAY | WEBSITE AND BLOG REBUILD

We would like to apologise for all the ickiness going on with our Website and Blog -we were hacked – hacked so bad that we no longer have a website  - it had to be deleted off the server and our blog is now corrupt. We are rebuilding from the ground up…  For all upcoming [...]
 

We would like to apologise for all the ickiness going on with our Website and Blog -we were hacked – hacked so bad that we no longer have a website  - it had to be deleted off the server and our blog is now corrupt.

We are rebuilding from the ground up…  For all upcoming Point Shoot Play Class information and products – please “like” our Point Shoot Play Facebook Page – we will be updating regularly via Facebook until the site and blog have been rebuilt.

Meloo Photography is also under going a ‘mini facelift’ and will have it’s own blog very soon… Lots going on – we have had to all shoots from last year recovered due to the hack as well – so happy to be able to have all our images back safe and sound (i have included a few of my faves) To be kept in the loop with all Meloo Session info and to view all our recent work – please “like” our Meloo Photography Page on Facebook

Once all is back to normal we will be thanking you with a few awesome gifts…

We are currently at the Scrapbooking Expo in Brisbane on the Wacom Stand – great to see so many familiar faces…
Last Day today -pop in and say hi – Wacom has a great show special on the Bamboo Craft and we have the long awaited Photoshop Elements Basics and Beyond available for pre order.

Sadly we had to close down the Point Shoot Play Group on Facebook due to a few icky hacks.
Point Shoot Play now has a Facebook Page – here – go ‘like it’ – cause you like us ;)

Once we hit 250 likers and 500 likers, we will be giving away a copy of our Master Class and Workshop Notes for the last 4 years as well as an adorable Sassi Camera Strap.

Next weekend we are teaching at KaiserCraft Robina – so excited to get back into stores -only a few this year.  More than happy to arrange small private workshops – just don’t forget the M&M’s -peanut of course…

We are in the midst of separating Point Shoot Play & Meloo Photography – as in separate blogs…

Meloo Photography is also enjoying a mini facial -cannot wait to share…

Private 1:1 and small group classes have kept us busy so far throughout late 2010 and 2011  -  thank you…

But, we miss the store classes – so happy to announce that we will be teaching on Sat 21st May at KaiserCraft Robina -please contact the store all details – looking forward to seeing you there…

We are currently taking bookings for Private 1:1 and small group classes for May and June – please contact us if you would like to book your session.

And because I cannot  blog without popping up an image and it has been so long… An after shot of our 10 year sons Cake Smash – a little unconventional but a heap of fun all the same…

Model Student | From Sun, Rain to Fog and Back….

Only in Toowoomba… Last Thursday and Saturday saw me with Model Student  - our Senior Photography sister of Meloo Photography in Toowoomba. Only in Toowoomba… Last Thursday and Saturday saw me with Model Student  - our Senior Photography sister of Meloo Photography in Toowoomba.
Mother Nature decided that we needed reminding on the other 3 seasons in a span of 45 mins.
Thursday I was photographing the lovely Miss Sarah.  Sarah’s mum Michelle has been to a few Point Shoot Play Classes and was after something a little different  for Sarah’s pre formal photos.

Back in Toowoomba again on Saturday for a couple of shoots.  Happy to say Mother Nature was in a better mood.
First up was the gorgeous Ashleigh, mum Angella has also been to a few Point Shoot Play classes and being a talent designer for various Scrapbook companies was after something a little different to capture Ashleigh’s true essence with her pre formal photos.  For Ashleigh, we started at Toowoomba Station and finished up at my new fave field….


After Ashleigh’s whirlwind shoot -just before the rains came (for all of 10 mins :) )  it was time to Trash Miss Emma’s dress (not really mum – promise.)

First stop the field…

And then the water…
